Vision1 was built by landlords who experienced the problem firsthand — rent collected in cash, tracked in notebooks, chased via WhatsApp. There had to be a better way.
Property management software built in the West assumes reliable internet, instant mobile payments via Stripe, and tenants who pay by card. None of that reflects how most landlords in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, or Rwanda actually work.
Rent arrives in cash from a tenant who met the landlord at the property. Or via an M-Pesa transfer whose reference number gets messaged on WhatsApp. Or by cheque dropped at the building manager's office. The internet may cut out during a site visit.
Vision1 is built around those realities. Offline-first means the app works without a signal and syncs when connectivity returns. And because every payment is recorded by the landlord themselves, they remain the true source of what actually came in — no card processor's API needs to tell them something they already know happened.
Every database query is scoped to your organisation. No landlord can ever access another landlord's data — enforced at the Supabase database level, not just the application layer.

Data is stored locally on your device first via IndexedDB. Cloud sync happens over encrypted HTTPS. You own your data — export it anytime as CSV or PDF.
