Vision1 PMS Inc. ("Vision1", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 ("KDPA") and applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).

• Provide and operate the Vision1 platform.
• Send transactional emails (email verification, password reset, lease renewal reminders, maintenance updates).
• Verify and record manual subscription payments.
• Diagnose errors and improve platform performance.
• Comply with our legal obligations under KDPA and PIPEDA.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone except the sub-processors listed below.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. We enforce Row-Level Security so no user can access another organisation's data. Offline data is stored in your browser's IndexedDB and never leaves your device until a connection is available.

We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and do not renew within 90 days, your data is scheduled for deletion. You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing sales@vision1safari.com.

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data (right to erasure).
• Object to processing of your data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@vision1safari.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and a consent cookie to remember your cookie preference. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time using the banner at the bottom of the page.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect.
