Property management software built in the West assumes reliable internet and a tenant who pays online, from a bank account, on the first of the month. None of that describes how rent actually reaches a landlord in Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda.
Rent arrives in cash from a tenant who met the landlord at the property. Or as an M-Pesa transfer whose reference number turns up on WhatsApp. Or as a cheque left at the building manager’s office. The connection drops in the middle of a site visit.
Vision1 is built around those conditions. Offline-first means the app keeps working without a signal and syncs when the connection returns. And because every payment is recorded by the landlord, they stay the source of truth for what came in — no payment processor has to tell them something they already watched happen.
Every query Vision1 runs is scoped to your organisation, and the organisation a session may act for is fixed when you sign in — the browser cannot change it. Row-level security is enabled on every table underneath that.
Your work is written to your own device first, in IndexedDB, and syncs over HTTPS when a connection returns. You can export your records as CSV or PDF whenever you want them.
